Tried a new hotel for my city trip and was pleasantly surprised. the staff were friendly and attentive, offering a welcome drink upon arrival. the tasting menu was a highlight with delicious and well-prepared dishes. the portions were generous, unlike some other restaurants. the location was remote, providing a peaceful escape from the city. the room was clean and comfortable, with a charming guest house vibe.
The signage at the entrance was a bit dimly lit, making it difficult to find in the dark. once inside, the service and hospitality were top-notch.

We had a brilliant Christmas at this hotel. The room was amazing with everything we needed and it was kept spotless. The location was beautiful, set in the countryside of Kent and it was so peaceful and quiet. We loved the fact that the hotel had outside patio chairs and a table right outside our door, it was very private and we enjoyed sitting there. The food was delicious and plentiful, we had the taster menu with wine pairings and every course was excellent.
That the shower was a handheld over the bath type. We would have preferred a stand-up shower, but the bath was luxurious with nice bathroom accessories and plenty of hot water, so it wasn't a major issue.

I recently stayed at a charming countryside retreat for my anniversary. The room upgrade was a special touch, and the 7-course tasting menu was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was equally impressive, with locally sourced ingredients. Our private cottage-like room was peaceful and romantic. I also noticed they host weddings, which would be a stunning setting.
